Kown as MA (mother to the differently abled children). She is a Social Worker, Educationalist and has been working tirelessly for more than a decade in discovering, nurturing, rehabilitating and showcasing the outstanding abilities of persons with special needs, across the Nation. special needs, across the Nation. She always believes in ‘Skill is the Will’.

Her motto is to make every individual disabled person highly skilled so that she/he leads an independent and dignified life. Being a Women MAhiraa understands the problem of women with disabilities, their sufferings at home, in the society and in the working places.
MAhiraa regularly gives counseling and organizes series of workshops empowering them through performing and visual arts. Hails from MAdurai, Tamil Nadu, she studied Bharathnatyam. As a child and youngster she was always attracted to social cause and volunteered services towards orphanages and upliftment of women and differently abled in Madurai and many other parts of the country.

She firmly believed that “Serving humanity is serving God”. She is the first Muslim woman in the country to launch and promote Wheelchair dance theatre production such as “Bhagvad Gita On Wheelchairs.
